Evaluations

The first step in the process is to have your child evaluated. A free phone consultation will be conducted to determine if an evaluation is appropriate. If an evaluation is recommended, you will schedule a time with the therapist on the phone.

You will receive a child intake packet for the speech language pathologist to gather important information including birth, family, and developmental history as well as information about your child’s areas of strength and weakness.

Evaluations are scheduled between 60 - 90 minutes. By the end of the evaluation session, the therapist will determine if treatment is needed and discuss recommendations for frequency. An evaluation report will be written and provided to families promptly.
